The ideal candidate will be responsible for Software Product & Quality Assurance. Their main goal is to ensure that products, processes, and services meet customer requirements and industry standards. 

Job Responsibilities  

  • Definition and implementation of Software Product Assurance Plans 
    Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for space robotics software. 
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software quality. 
  • Ensure traceability of software quality metrics and ensure compliance to safety-critical software standards  
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies. 
  • Work closely with the development and QA team to troubleshoot and resolve issues. 
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test results, methodologies, and processes. 
  • Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance software reliability and performance. 
  • Review of customer and supplier documentation for compliance with assigned project software PA requirements 
  • Preparation of required software PA documentation and deliverables for assigned projects 

Job Requirements 

  • Work location in our office in Luxembourg 
  • Bachelor in Software engineer or equivalent field
  • 3 years of software development experience
  • >3 years' additional experience in software quality assurance and testing 
  • Software qualification experience the aerospace industry (e.g. ECSS, DO, NASA-STD)   
  • Proficiency in at least one programming (C, C++). 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken). 

Preferred Skills & Abilities 

  • Familiarity with embedded software development and testing. 
  • Experience with testing tools and frameworks pyest, gtest, gmock, etc. 
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. 
  • Understanding of embedded operating systems and embedded software testing.
